Memorial Fund

The fund, which will be administered under the auspices of The Niagara Community Foundation, will provide monies in perpetuity for the three following causes:

1. ProKids
2. Robert A. Lavelle Bursary Program
3. The Niagara Peninsula Children's Centre

THE ROBERT A. LAVELLE MEMORIAL FUND

To honour Bob, a charitable fund is being established to provide financial support to a number of causes/interests that were near and dear to him.
 
The fund, which will be administered under the auspices of the Niagara Community Foundation, will provide monies in perpetuity for the three following causes:
 

1. ProKids:
   The ProKids program, managed under the direction of the YMCA, enables children of families in Niagara Falls with limited financial means to participate in minor sports and recreation programs.
    
2. Robert A. Lavelle Bursary Program:
   An annual bursary will be granted to a graduating student from St. Paul’s High School in Niagara Falls who chooses to pursue a post-secondary school education in a chosen field.
    
3. The Niagara Peninsula Children's Centre:
   The Centre's purpose is to provide programs and services to enable children and youth with physical or communicative challenges to maximize their independence in their activities of daily living and to have the highest quality of life possible.
